The Top 5 Hairstyle For Men 2012
The hottest hairstyles for men in 2012 are here. As a female barber, I
have heard it ALL from my client’s. But the thing I hear the most this
time of year is “How can I venture away from the norm and redefine my
style for summer?” Well, look no further boys. These sizzling ‘dos are
sure to recharge your look and give you the change you’ve been searching
for.
Originally debuted by the likes of Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, the Quiff requires just a touch of badass. This style comes in a variety of shapes and sizes but the main components remain the same. The top is swept back off the forehead, often slightly to one side. The sides tend to be shorter, either slicked back or cropped tight. To rock this style you need confidence, attitude and a decent amount of heavy duty hair product. Read more: The Quiff Hairstyle
This is a hairstyl I have been getting a lot of requests for in the shop this spring. A slick side part is a commanding look that oozes sex appeal, think Don Draper or pretty much anyone from the Mad Men cast. Make a small wave on the front of your hair by combing your bangs up and back towards the side. Read more: The Side Part Hairstyle

To achieve this look use a product with a matte finish and apply to dried hair. Apply product evenly with your fingertips then lightly pull the ends of your hair toward the side of your choice. This Brit-rock style cut is back in a big way. The slightly tousled, forward sweeping men’s haircut is incredibly easy to maintain. Simply brush hair forward and air dry. Then apply a small amount of product. Using too much product with this style can make your hair look greasy or stringy so start with a small amount and add more as needed. After trying all the haircuts from buzzed to conservative, long hair provides an option for some much needed change. It takes courage for a man to let his hair grow. It’s a long and not always attractive process. However if you can make it through that often awkward in-between stage, the payoff is an exceptionally easy styling process. Simply towel dry then run a smoothing cream through those long luxurious locks. Read more: The Long Hairstyle
